I don't do 'New year, new me', I don't believe in that for myself. Every year I hope to make changes to myself, to improve myself, but I'm not going to be a completely new person. Same person, just a few tweaks. This year I've made a list of things for myself that I want to tweak.
So here is my little list.

1. Don't Be a Punk! Speak 'Yo Mind!
I've got this little issue of not talking when I should, or not speaking my mind. But this year my goal is to be more honest with myself, and other people. Not to many more "Oh, it's ok," and "I don't mind", nope! Time to speak my mind! In a way that is polite as possible.
2. Do Things You Like, Avoid Things You Don't
Simple enough I'd like to think.
3. Read More!
Books, fanfiction, manga...anything, I just need to read more. I use to a lot but I haven't so much in this last year.
4. Save Money Regularly
I literally have nothing in savings and this is a very aggravating fact. So I'm changing that. This year. No if, ands, or buts about it.
5. Spend Less Frequently
So I'm doing the 52 Week Money Challenge [which I'll post about on Friday] to help with this. I'm debating on getting a little jar to keep my money in and locking it away somewhere as I know that it won't be as safe as it could be in my bank account. What I'm also thinking about doing is saving $50-$100 each money and going on a big shopping trip every three months. May it be at Sephora, Garage, the thrift store, anywhere where I may want/need things.
6. Keep Up With 'Good Things Jar'
I started a jar of good things last year towards the middle/end of the year and this time around I want to start off right from the get go! So I'll be keeping up with my jar and adding something good to it frequently.
7. Limit Fast Food
I practically live a McDonalds....A lot less now then before, but still more then I would like. So I shall limit fast food outings as much as I can. My goal is to start buying food and making things, but some of the members of my house hold eat like they have three stomachs for no good reason so that may be hard.
8. Take Better Care of My Body
This was originally three things:
- Drink more tea and water
- Eat healthier snacks
- Work out, big or small, three times a week
But I made them into something short and simple. But I really need to up my water intake, as it currently stands its pretty bad...Some days I have one cup, other days (most days) I have none. Which isn't good and I know! But I'm working on it! Eating healthier snacks is self explanatory....grapes, strawberries, mangos opposed to chips all the time. I love chips, but I also loooove me some grapes. Now to go out and buy them.

9. Don't Keep Junk
This is something that I've been getting better at due to my...unique living situation, but the goal is not to keep junk. Get rid of clothes I really am not going to wear again, throw out papers, start scanning stuff maybe...I dunno, I just know I need to get rid of things more often.
10. Keep to the One Year Challenge
I'm sooo serious about doing this one year protective styling challenge. I'm actually getting my hair braided on Saturday or Sunday to start it. Just need to keep up with it.
11. SMILE MORE
I supposedly have a pretty smile, I'm just super bad at showing it. So I'm going to work on that, somehow. Practicing in the mirror maybe? Yeah, that'll work....
