This is a question I see a lot on Beautylish and the answer to it is really, really simple.
I am dying to get some length on my hair, like I want it so bad! But that's just me being impatient. I know my hair isn't going to grow magically over night and I have to give it time but I waaaannnnttt it. That and I feel like my hair is at a weird length right now. To long for TWA styles, to short for most of the stuff I see on Youtube. So I'm considering doing the one year protective styling challenge. Aka, keeping my hair in protective styles [braids] for a year.
Now, I don't know if I'm supposed to do it for a whole year with no breaks or not, but I do know between braids I would at least wait two weeks to give my hair a bit of a break. It'll be a good way to keep my hands out of my hair [5 months after the BC and I still like touching] and to get some growth as my hair grows a lot faster when it's in braids. But this what I'm thinking so far...
