With the NAKED3 palette, or well, I wanted to be in love with it. I really really did. And I tried. But after doing the Beauty Talk: One Palette a Week Challenge with it I came to realize I didn't like it as much as I thought. There wasn't quite as much variety in the shades as I had hoped. u_u
I tried different bases, I tried different combos, but nothing to me screamed 'OMG I LOVE YOU'. So it went back to Sephora. But at the very least, here are the looks I did with it for that challenge before it went back.
So I wanted to focus mostly on the blue instead of the pink in Porygon Z, so I only did a littttle bit of pink in the inner corners and blue everwhere else. I'm not 100% satisfied with this, so I see myself redoing it before the challenge is over.

So today I did a look based off Audino for the Pokemon challenge. Starting out with Normal types. Used my Vice2 palette as that's what I'm using for the week (accepted another challenge on Beauty Talk so I'll only be using one palette a week + singles)

The VICE2 palette, foundation, and lip pencil were completely unexpected purchases. The blushes I had planned on buying since I heard about the sale.
When it comes to the VICE2 palette I wasn't planning on buying it at all. I had seen it online and was unimpressed. Had seen it in my local JCP Sephora and was still unimpressed. Got to the store in Tyson's Corner, and was kinda impressed, but I needed things to make my exchange even as I was returning some stuff so I got it.
The foundation I was color IQ'd with [1R13]. I took my friend Anna to get color IQ'd and liked how the UD foundation looked on her, so I decided to snag it myself.
I am trying to get into blushes more so I bought three of them, not all of them are what I wanted but I got 'em. I'm going to try and swatch them throughout the week. I may actually try tomorrow so I know if I need to exchange any out before the sale is over. The lip pencil I had seen on another AA woman while I was in Tyson's and loved it, unfortunately it was sold out. So five Sephora phone calls and an hour drive later I got it. :D I'm an instant gratification kinda person so...yeah, I don't order things offline often. Should probably start though as the perks are a bit better.
Overall I'm happy with everything I got (or at least I am while looking at it!) and can't wait to test things out throughout the week.
Oh! And I almost forgot about the tote. I've got three of them....So one of them will definitely be going to my Beauty Talk Secret Santa...I'm not a tote bag person so I have no idea what I'll be using them for.
Until next time,
