So it's that time again, Ipsy bag time! This month the theme is Glam It Up. The featured brands being HSI, the em by Michelle Phan, Starlooks, Pixi, Nailtini, and Be a Bombshell. I'm not to sure if there were any extra brands, but this was everything I got. I'm happy with what I received, but the bag is ugly as sin. It does have a strap though, so I guess that's something.

So for hair care this month I received HSI Professional Argan Oil. I like the fact that it's an oil, not a hair spray (I seriously think Ipsy needs to be more specific with coarse hair, like having a natural or relaxed option as we use completely separate products!), like I've been receiving. It doesn't have a smell (which makes me a little sad) and coming out of the bottle it feels thick on my fingers, but as soon as I rubbed it on my hand it thinned out a bit. I can't wait to try it on my hair, but I feel like there's not gonna be enough for my whole head so it may get added to my oil mixture.
Next is the Starlooks Eyepencil in Amythyst. Reading the name I thought it was going to be a nice dark purple because of the name, but when I opened it I was surprised to see a pretty frosty lilac color!
I don't think I'll be using it as an eyeliner as it rubs off VERY easily, buuuuut I do think it has base potential. I can't wait to test it out!
I received the Pixi Bronzer in summertime. I find it a little funny because I was just saying over Beauty Talk today about how I don't really use bronzer....I didn't get a chance to swatch it buuuut lemme say this, it does on REALLY smoothly. I haven't received a Pixi powder yet, just mascara, but this stuff feels so nice on the skin.
I will be honest in saying I've heard the name Michelle Phan, but I've never actually seen one of her videos. I know she's supposed to be big on Youtube and just started her own beauty line. She was nice enough to give us full sized samples of her lip balm though! It's called pillow plush and mine is in Strawberry. It does feel very...plushy, it's actually kinda fun to feel, but it only smells a little like strawberry. There's another scent that kind overtakes it and I can't name it, but I don't enjoy it. It goes on very smoothly though!
I had a swatch of it, but I think my camera ate it because it's most definitely not on my SD card. It does give my lips a bit of a red tint though.

From be a bombshell I received their lip crayon in Shameless. I'm soooo happy this color actually works for my skin tone. The last lip crayon I received in an Ipsy bag made me look crazy! It was entirely to light. This one is dark enough for fall. It's not as dark as a lipstick or stain, but it does put some color on your lips. Just enough to show that there's something there, but nothing over powering. It's very smooth going on and feels great.
Here's the color! It's a very light plum, kinda like the jacket I was wearing. It looks more frosty in the picture then it actually is.
From nailtini I received a color called Caviar Cocktail, which is a gorgeous silver color. I wanted to swatch it, but my boyfriend hates the smell of nailpolish (and painted nails) soooo I'm gonna have to wait on that. I will say I can't wait though! The nailtini colors are always so pigmented and pretty, or at least the last one I received was.
But that's all I've got this time!
